Products that provide more than one use are not only thrifty, but just plain smart! I love a good, practical multi-tasker. That brings me to bubble bath.
When I think of bubble bath, scenes from old westerns come to mind. The saloon girl slips off her skivvies behind an old wood screen, hair up, she climbs into a claw tub of bubbles that seem to perfectly cover her up in all the right places. Yup. Not much beats a nice bath. I especially when paired with a glass of wine, a good candle and my DVR. { Its the perfect time to indulge in "90 Day Fiance" and their zillion spin offs. }
While bubble bath can't be beat for its original purpose, I've used one bottle of this liquid gold for more things than I can count on one hand! Its a power horse around the house!
Below is a list of creative ways to use Bubble Bath that maybe you hadn't thought of. Be sure to grab yourself a bottle or two next order, if for nothing else than "just in case"!! 😁
- As a bubble bath! Feel like a diva in a tub of bubbles that leave NO bathtub ring to clean.
- Give your car a bath! It makes a great car wash.
- Laundry Detergent. Smells great and no fabric softener needed!
- Handwash delicates. Bras, panties, you get the picture.
- Pre-soak for stains. Really helps to attack stains before they set in.
- Dish Soap. Preferably the sensitive, unscented, but in a pinch, any will do.
- Pet shampoo. Choose the sensitive, unscented for your furry friends.
- All purpose cleaner. Windows, floors, countertops, appliances, tabletops, light fixtures, blinds, etc.
- Shampoo your carpet.
- Use the bubbles for upholstery: furniture or car interior.
- Stain remover. Dip a damp cloth into undiluted bubble bath to work the stain out. Water may leave a stain, but the bubble bath won’t.
- Grease stains no more. Put straight bubble bath on the spot. Let it sit a few minutes before washing.
- Makes a great substitute for hand soap (more on this in a later post!)
